Our Story
From The Beginning
For nearly 40 years, we've dedicated our lives to coaching basketball at all levels – from youth leagues to the collegiate ranks. Throughout this journey, one glaring issue has consistently challenged us: the prevalence of players shooting with two hands instead of mastering the fundamentally sound one-handed shooting form.
What started as a mission to help a single player overcome this flaw soon evolved into something greater. We realized that this was a widespread problem, hindering the development of accurate and consistent shooters across the basketball world. That's when the seed for Perfec'Shot was planted.
Development
A Journey Fueled By Passion
With a burning desire to find a solution, we embarked on an arduous path, determined to create a shooting aid that could effectively break the two-handed shooting habit. We understood that merely restricting thumb movement wasn't enough; the real challenge lay in curbing the more significant issue of forearm pronation during the shooting motion.
Our unwavering commitment drove us to push the boundaries of innovation, leveraging cutting-edge technology and our wealth of coaching experience. It was a journey filled with countless iterations, failures, and hard-won victories, but we persevered, fueled by our passion for the game and a relentless pursuit of perfection.

One standard on every product
Our ONE shooting aids are designed, manufactured, and assembled by hand in Durham, North Carolina, with most of our materials coming from U.S. suppliers.
ALIGN basketballs are designed in-house and made to our specifications overseas.
The Performance Tracker app was built by us, from scratch.
However a product comes together, the standard is the same: it has to work, it has to last, and it has to help a player get better.
