About Perfec’Shot

There are no shortcuts to great shooting.
That’s why we haven’t taken any.

From Insight To Action

With over two decades of combined coaching experience and a lifetime spent in and around the game, our love for basketball runs deep just like yours. Also like you, we’re committed in our own way to supporting the sport and those who play it at all levels.

For us, this comes down to one of the most important aspects of the game: the shot. Shooting isn’t like pitching in baseball or throwing in football. It’s something that everyone on the team should be able to do. In fact, it’s something that everyone on the team should be able to do well through proper instruction and hard work.

Unfortunately, this is easier said than done. Why?

Drills are good for repetition but still require proper technique.
Good shooting camps and trainers can be costly, poor ones can teach bad habits.
Adjustable gloves and straps are limited in what they can do and how they fit.

In our minds, these things create gaps in the learning curve. Serious shooters need a better, more accessible solution. Something that’s effective, easy to use, and empowers players of all ages and skill levels to work on their game.

Turns out this didn’t exist. So, we decided to create it ourselves.

The Last Shooting Aid You'll Ever Need

We believe that, for a shooting tool to produce real results, three things need to happen:

  • It absolutely must be high in quality. Devices that are hard to put on, loosen or break over time, or are straight up uncomfortable aren’t going to cut it.
  • It needs to work. Sounds simple, but that doesn’t keep gimmicky products that make big promises but have little to no effect off of store shelves.
  • It should be something people want to use. If it doesn’t fit well or look right, it’ll just end up collecting dust.

Bottom line, if anything in this world is unique, it’s you. Perfecting your J will take a training aid that fits your body and your style.

This led us down a path of exhaustive research. Parents, coaches, trainers, camps, AAU and tournament circuits—all were critical for our knowledge base. Our journey then took us to outside experts in fields like orthopedics and biomechanics. It was critical to understand the overlap between technique, anatomy, and the technology available to bring everything together in one effective and affordable product.

This dedication to offering you a best-in-class form-shooting aid is best symbolized through our logo’s inspiration, the Greek letter Phi. It represents math’s age-old golden ratio, as well as our commitment to a solution that’s meticulously researched and engineered.

The same thing goes for our tagline, Pursue It! We conducted extensive trial-and-error testing to bring you the most advanced shooting tool ever built. After all, you’re working just as hard to take your game to the next level. You deserve a partner who matches your own drive.

Beyond the Product

Staying true to Pursue It! means Perfec’Shot doesn’t end with 3D printing. It’s about more than just the tool itself. Like shooting, follow-through is key.

This means instruction. As students of the game, we’re constantly learning from our experience and engagement with others at all levels of the basketball community. As mentors, we want to pass on this knowledge and continually coach the game we love in new ways.

That’s why we offer instructional videos and organize online competitions to keep you engaged. These not only help you get the most out of your Perfec’Shot, they also develop other skills to elevate the rest of your game. LeBron, Kobe, MJ — the best players of their eras all put in countless hours on the court working on the fundamentals. It’s what you’re willing to do when no one’s watching that will set you apart.

So, the question is, what do you need to do to take the next step? How far are you ready to go to become that once-in-a-generation player? What are you willing to do to pursue it?
